Pastor Murray first began attending Agape Faith Church in 2005. He has four children and seven grandchildren. Pastor Murray was born in Canada, and he’s also a certified pilot who has been on solo flights. His favorite scripture is Psalm 1:3 “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaves also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
Creative Arts Team / Impact University
Pastor Barr began attending Agape Faith Church in 1996 after meeting his wife, Marilyn, who had been a member since 1985. They were married at the church in 1997. Pastor Barr feels as though the most courageous time in his life was running and serving on the school board here in Winston-Salem from 2014-2018. The position stretched him in many ways and he felt honored to serve our community. The couple both enjoy music and Pastor Barr likes to brag that he is able to play Country Roads on guitar.
Student Ministries / Foreign Missions
Pastor Michael and Pastor Belinda both began attending Agape Faith Church in 2000. They have two adult children, Grant and Courtney. They love vacationing in the mountains and in small European towns. As our resident adventure seekers, they have both climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. Pastor Michael has driven NASCAR and Indy cars at over 150 MPH, and Pastor Belinda has competed in, and won, a Pepper eating contest.
Life Groups / Outreach
Pastor Chris and Kristy have been attending Agape Faith Church since the very first Sunday in 1982. Together, they have two lovely daughters and two grandchildren. On days off, they enjoy exploring our city for good food and coffee. Pastor Chris not only served our country as a Marine, but has also started several successful businesses. His only regret is that he never made it into the NBA.
Pastor Dallas has been attending Agape Faith Church since 1997 and was ordained as a pastor in 2017. He’s been a part of AFC for so long that Pastor Whitfield likes to joke that he was basically born in the church lobby. He and his wife, Mary, have one son named August. Pastor Dallas and Mary enjoy family vacations to Disney World. A quote Pastor Dallas lives by: “Those who love cookies love life” – Otis Spunkmeyer.
Pastor Julian began attending prayer school at AFC in February of 1999 and became a member that July. He and his wife, Krishauna, have one son, named Giovanni. He considers his role as father and husband to be his greatest accomplishment, as it takes strength and courage to be in these two positions. Krishauna not only earned her Ph.D but also speaks three languages (English, French, and Spanish). Pastor Julian enjoys Professional Bull Riding and vacationing anywhere with clear blue water and nice sand.
Healing Clinic / Healing School / Hospital Visits
Pastor David and Talitha began attending AFC in 2005. They have four children, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. David traveled to Israel alone to train with an Israeli anti terrorist unit and is a skilled Krav Maga practitioner.
