The Prayer Ministry of Agape Faith Church is convinced if you are desperate for the face of God, and are pursuing the call to pray, God desires to express Himself through your prayers. Toward that end we have developed curriculum designed to assist every individual better understand and grow in their life of prayer. The following Prayer Schools are held twice each year:
Prayer School I is a foundational class training the pray-er on such topics as Faith, a Foundation of Spirit-led prayer , Knowing and Fellowshipping with God , Heart Preparation , and Learning to Flow in Corporate Prayer.
Prayer School II builds on the teaching in the first class by helping the pray-er gain clearer understanding on accessing the throne of God , the promptings and cues of the Holy Spirit , watching in the Spirit , and revival prayer.
Prayer School III is a one evening class consisting of two sessions, “Cultivating Thanksgiving in Spirit-led Prayer”, and “The Personality of the Holy Spirit”.
Children's Prayer School was established in cooperation with the Children's Ministry. This annual course is specially designed for children from 6 to 12 years of age and incorporates all of the key concepts and principles of Adult Prayer School I .
Susan Whitfield , the Prayer Ministry Coordinator, oversees all aspects of the Prayer Ministry. As a result of having held Prayer School since 1998, the Prayer Ministry at Agape Faith Church has been able to establish over 50 prayer groups that meet regularly at the church. Susan Whitfield, along with Judy Hall, conduct Prayer Clinics in other churches as a part of Susan's desire to teach other leaders about prayer and how to establish a prayer ministry in their own church. Churches that are interested may learn more about the Prayer Clinics by contacting the Prayer Ministry at AFC. The AFC Prayer Ministry also operates an On-line Prayer Ministry, to which prayer requests can be phoned in, emailed, or faxed. Please visit our Prayer Request page to submit a prayer request to our On-line Prayer Ministry.
